Center for Education Foundations
The Center for Education Foundations prioritizes the needs of the commonwealth’s local education foundations through ongoing training opportunities and valuable information. The center’s support includes resources related to fundraising techniques, donor and public relations, financial trainings, and pending legislation.
Pennsylvania Education Innovation Awards
The Pennsylvania Education Innovation Awards, initiated in 2017, recognize innovative leadership in public school board governance, administration and teaching.
Presented annually at the PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference, these awards seeks to recognize innovative leadership in public schools through three categories:
- Innovative School Board Award – recognizing a school board that has adopted an innovative approach to its responsibilities and led the district to exceptional performance.
- Innovative School Leader Award – recognizing a school superintendent, assistant superintendent, curriculum supervisor or building-level administrator who has demonstrated an innovative approach to leading their district, building or program.
- Innovative Teacher Award – recognizing a teacher for their innovative approach to teaching and classroom leadership.
