The PSBA Institute (PSBA-I) is an independent, 501(c)(3) organization based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania that aims to foster an exceptional public education system for all of the commonwealth’s students through networking, information sharing and financial support.

The Center for AI & Education supports districts by monitoring trends, providing continuing education and advocating for a legal and regulatory framework as AI becomes more prevalent in education.  

The Center for Leadership & Research is dedicated to fostering an exceptional public education system through continuing education and immersive experiences for public school district leaders. 

The Center for Education Foundations prioritizes the needs of the commonwealth’s local education foundations through ongoing training opportunities and valuable information.

The Center for Charter Innovation identifies current trends and collects data related to charter schools in Pennsylvania.

We develop and share current trends, research, thought leadership and other information to strengthen public education.
SUPPORT
We recognize outstanding work in public education through our awards and scholarships programs.
BRIDGE
We seek to bring together varied opinions and ideas to identify solutions that can bring positive improvements to schools and educational governance.

Events

AI Symposium

PSBA Trust Institute’s Center for AI and Education Symposium, held May 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at PSBA headquarters in Mechanicsburg, will take a multifaceted look at AI in K-12 education and beyond.

Scholarships 

The Student Leader Scholarships have been established to provide a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500 or $5,000 to each recipient. The scholarships recognize graduating seniors from PSBA member districts who have demonstrated ongoing leadership and meet the criteria for one of four available scholarships

Awards

Presented annually at the PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference, the Pennsylvania Education Innovation Awards recognizes innovative leadership in public school board governance, administration and teaching. 

International Study Group

The PSBA Trust Institute (PSBA-IN), in collaboration with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, conducts an annual international study group to develop recommendations centered on changes school districts could implement to significantly enhance district academics, operations, facilities and culture.
